Installation

Install SK WhatsApp Chat Button from the Shopify App Store, enable the theme app embed and set your WhatsApp number to go live.

Getting the button live on your storefront takes three short steps: install the app, enable the theme app embed, and save your WhatsApp number.

Install the app

Install SK: WhatsApp Chat Button from the Shopify App Store. After installation it opens inside your Shopify admin under Apps → SK: WhatsApp Chat Button.

Enable the app embed (activation)

The button is delivered through a Theme App Extension called WhatsApp Button. It must be enabled once in your theme:

In the app, open the Setup Guide / General Actions card on the Dashboard.
Click Enable (this opens your theme editor with the app embed).
In the theme editor, toggle WhatsApp Button on under App embeds.
Click Save.

Set your WhatsApp number

Go to Settings → Contact, enter the WhatsApp number that should receive messages, and Save. The button is now live on your storefront.

Automatic embed detection

The app automatically detects whether the embed is enabled and reminds you on the Dashboard if it is still turned off.
